After an energetic and characterful set from New Country-American darlings The Cedars, the Long Insiders erupted onto the stage with their unique blend of tremolo-surf guitar and breathy female vocals. Influenced by everything from Tarantino to David Lynch, their well-crafted set sunk into the hearts and minds of the punters strewn around this historic venue.
For those not familiar with the Troubador it is a treat for punters everywhere - one of the early stomping grounds of the sixties scene, it has played host to the likes of Hendrix and Dylan when they were cutting their teeth on the London music scene. The Long Insiders were up to the occasion and the heritage of the venue in every way. Rock!
