I have attended all the NME tours that have passed through Bristol for the past decade and they're really scraping the barrell here. NME used to be seen as the oracle of breaking new music but this is not the case any more - they're cack and there's no kinder word for it (but plenty worse).
I'm not blaming the bands as they didn't choose to be put on a pedestal as the best new music we have to offer as a country and as passable as they all were they're clearly nothing new.
NME should take full blame for this - its all hype over substance and quality. Sort it out NME and find some GOOD bands to champion. BOOOOOO!
