Bristol’s finest post-punk polemics IDLES are picking up a lot of attention recently - for all the right reasons. Handpicked by The Maccabees to support on their London farewell shows, they debuted the video to "Stendhal Syndrome" on Friday and it really is a must-watch (see above).

Track Of The Day - IDLES - Stendhal Syndrome
Band bassist and "star" of the video, Dev says of the filming:

“Armed with our secret weapon, (a lovely and excessively tall Belgian man called Ben) both Lee and I set about the galleries of London and proceeded to film me pissing about in front of a total of 91 pieces of art. Gin was needed. All moves featured are choreographed by myself under the guidance of the director/singer/artiste extraordinaire Joseph Talbot. I am available for dance lessons if anyone is interested.”

IDLES have also announced that they will be embarking on the massive 25 date ‘Brutalism UK Tour’ in March/April 2017. Bringing the unsettling reality of the world we live in into their frantic assault on the senses, they are a band that can only be truly understood by witnessing in a live environment. The release late last year of single “Well Done” saw the band rise to no.1 on Spotify’s Viral Charts & paired with intensive radio support from Huw Stephens, Annie Mac, Steve Lamacq and regular Radio 6 play, brought them to the forefront of ones to watch.
