TRACK OF THE DAY - FUTURE ISLANDS - INCH OF DUST

Our favourite Baltimore based post-wave nut cases Future Islands have made it back into Track Of The Day. Yes as some call the gay Brian Blessed has returned with this fantastic new song and video for 'Inch Of Dust'. The video draws on footage from 60s Italian movie I fidanzati - a raw account of human emotion involving love and factory work.

Future Islands are often connected with Wham City and the bands that associate themselves. They regularly tour with other notables such as Videhippos, OCDJ and others. Future Islands are a bastard child of Art Lord & The Self Portraits. They are releasing output through Chicago independent label Thrill Jockey. Happy listening.
