The Cribs’ sixth studio album 'For All My Sisters’ officially dropped yesterday and instantaneously reintroduced that classic Cribs sound back into the indie-rock mainstream, so much so, it honestly felt like they had never even left.

It is tricky to explain but we will give it a shot. There is such an immediacy to the music that the band make; it’s like they have a message and have no desire beating around the bush to get that message across (even though their fans would totally entertain a more progressive sound). If anything, this is where the beauty lies; The Cribs have developed something that works in its most primal and raw form, this is what they showcase in all their music and new album ‘For All My Sisters’ is no exception.

The Cribs celebrate new album by embarking on in-store tour
Speaking of the release, the Jarman brothers shared: “We are so excited about this new album, and the reception that it has got from everyone so far has been a really great feeling. We can't wait to bring it to you during the in-store appearances we will be making during release week, or at any of the festivals and upcoming tours that we have in the works.”

In-store appearances you say!?! That’s right, to mark the album’s release, The Cribs embark on a tour of UK record stores this VERY week, making the following appearances:

24th March - Head, Warrington (performance + signing) 5pm
25th March - Rough Trade, Nottingham (performance + signing) 8pm
26th March - Banquet Records, Kingston (performance) 8pm
27th March - HMV, Glasgow (performance + signing) 5pm
