Gig Guides, Music Concert Tickets at Livemusic.fm

In the latest instalment of a musical mega star taking on the painfully flawed ticket buying bots / resellers, pop biggun Taylor Swift has teamed up with Ticketmaster to give the power back to the fans.

That, or, rope them into parting with even more of their money in the build up to her new LP.

Taylor Swift and Ticketmaster go there…
In what they describe as a partnership designed to ensure that tickets end up in the hands of only the most dedicated fans and not the bots, the ‘Verified Fan’ scheme rewards active members of the Taylor Swift online community with the promise of an increased chance of tickets to the show.
Watch the videos, tweet the hashtag, share the event page, visit the website, you get the idea…

The reason it works for Taylor Swift is for the simple fact that she has WAYYYY more fans than any one arena or stadium can fit. The demand is there, so why not scalp the most dedicated yourself rather than leaving them at the mercy of the bots?

Obviously, pre-ordering the new album and / or buying the T-shirt will elevate you higher up the rankings than a simple hashtag, apparently it all counts towards increasing your chances of getting tickets when they hit the market. FYI - You are only allowed to buy the album 13 times at any one time.

It’s either genius or super GREEDY. Will it change the game? Probably. Will it make Taylor Swift rich? Of course it will.
