Gig Guides, Music Concert Tickets at Livemusic.fm

We love a bit of speculation. The ‘Maybe they will? Maybe they won’t? Are they? Aren’t they?’ roundabout is forever spinning across the world of showbiz as the rumour mills churn in search of something to report upon. Sometimes the speculation is so ridiculous that it can be chalked off as fantastical in no time at all, however, for those stories that crop up time-and-time again it is impossible not to take notice, even if the protagonists are as press hungry as they come.

Oasis to reform in time for next Summer?
The Gallagher brothers are honorary members of the very highest tier of the rumour mill community. Not only are their every moves reported upon (sure, this may have lessened a little in recent years), but they love to be involved in, they thrive on it. Why else would you be swinging fists in the street, or saying outrageous stuff at your gigs? Subsequently, there is always a story coming out of camp Gallagher, especially since they fell out and proclaimed their undying hate for one another when Oasis split in two back in 2009…

On this, reports lifted from today’s Daily Mirror newspaper are claiming that the brother’s have reached a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ to reunite the original Oasis line-up for a series of eagerly anticipated live shows next year. Make no mistake, this is HUGE news for any Oasis fan; think Stone Roses from a couple of Summers ago when they rolled out those epic homecoming gigs that went down in history for all the right reasons.

Oasis to reform in time for next Summer?
Apparently, a ‘well-placed source’ revealed to the Mirror…

“It’s early days in terms of the details, but Noel and Liam are back on good terms and ready to give things another go. Nothing is signed but it’s what you might call a gentlemen’s agreement between them … Ultimately they’re family and whatever has gone on before can be sorted out – they’re very close beneath all the bluster.”

We don’t know what to make of it all. Maybe it is true, maybe Noel and Liam are feeling the financial pinch a little? Who Knows? We think we need to see some harder evidence before we start to believe - some photos of the brothers playing in the park, watching a MCFC match together, or drinking Guiness in the boozer. Only then will we start to believe…
