It's true the elusive graphic designer from Japan/New York has announced the release of his debut single 'Teenagers' on December 5th. I used the term elusive because when we contacted Japayork's press earlier in the year they told us all they knew was what I have just written above - in fact less as there was no mention of any possible release. Well he seems to have crawled out from any form of metaphorical stone and pimped his Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/japayork So the single 'Teenagers' is coming out on Popjustice HI-FI and the Chap a' Japa has spoken of the song's theme: "Even though you might not be your happiest when you're stuck at school or stuck at work or stuck wherever, as soon as you see your friends and drink a bunch and dance a bunch, everything seems fine for a while. It's about coming together to forget what we did today, or yesterday. And it works".
