Tonight Liveandloud proudly presents another night of furiously fantastic, eminently eclectic music from across the board of London musical excellence.
Featuring:
Black Juju rock a dirty, lo-fi garage-punk sound in the vein of the Stooges and the Velvets. With an effortless Kings Of Leon style sense of cool and a filthy fuzz to their guitars the casual power of their anthemic songs are truly something to behold.
As Thick As Thieves imagine a grittier Black Rebel Motorcycle Club jamming with the Black Keys and you’re pretty close to the Thick As Thieves sound. Catchy As Fuck Hooks and sleazy grottiness aplenty, these boys are taking rock back to where it should be… The gutter, probably.
Herne The Hunter are named after the mysterious ghost who supposedly haunts the Copper Horse Statue. Not really sure why of course… maybe ask them at the gig? They play psychedelic wah-pedalled out funky roc, repetitive lyrics and slapped out, clean bass sounds create a trippy, danceable sound that it’s nigh-on-impossible to not enjoy.
With a fanciful ear for weird scales and an almost proggy build and space to their sound Silent Republic are as tight as they are original. Completely inimitable and hard to pigeonhole, they simply need to be seen to be believed.
SO four bands of unparalleled amazingness await you.
What are you waiting for?
