It was a major treat to have Listener play our HQ last month. When Dan Smith and Christin Nelson play music it is always a stirring and haunted affair. With Smith's mercurial delivery he looks like he's interpreting glossolalia from some distant stellar nursery, while Nelson weaves melodies blown in from America's endless plains. The combination of talents surmounts to something ultimately moving, spine-chilling and authentic.
It was an honour to host both their amiable persons and charming sounds. 'Wooden Heart' and 'You Were A House On Fire' are included below and will be posted separately at a later date, save my purple-hued maltworm face interrupting the action.
