The World's most successful virtual band are set to return to the realm with a new collaborative project.
Damon Albarn, visionary artist Jamie Hewlett and scriptwriter Cass Brown have teamed up with Converse to create a special range of Gorillaz Chuck Taylor All Star trainers, made famous by sports stars and musicians alike.
Additionally, Gorillaz are the latest band to team up with two other artists on Converse's pioneering 'Three Artists. One Song' initiative. The latest installment sees Damon Albarn working with LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy and Andre 3000 from Outkast. The result? A 12-minute opus called DoYaThing that will send Gorillaz fans utterly bezerk at its complete and utter excellence.
What about the video we hear you cry?
Well, if early sketches are anything to go by, Mr Albarn is set to star in the short as his Gorillaz alter-ego 2D (obvz), James Murphy looks set to star as a baboon in a karate outfit and Andre 3000 is a semi-naked guy, rocking a wrestling mask and a Zorro hat. Does that work for you?
