Okay, so this may not be the final cut, however, it is a dub of one of James Blake's upcoming album tracks titled 'Voyeur'. 

 

And it is a masterpiece.

 

Zane Lowe summed it up perfectly on Radio 1 the other day. Many have tried, but no-one can make music quite like James Blake. He has his own sound, which is something extremely rare in this day and age. Beautifully crafted and oozing style, charisma and class, James Blake's new album 'Overgrown' is shaping up to be a modern classic. Even if the album title does make us think of a rubbish front garden.

 

In contrast to the first single 'Retrograde', 'Voyeur' sinks into a skuzzy club like undercurrent at the end of the track. We cannot be sure how 'Voyeur' will be presented on the official album release, but what we can be sure of is this, the 'dub' version is a terrifying great track in itself.

 

 

'Overgrown' is scheduled for an early April release on Atlas/Republic records.
