Pop music's golden girl Adele is in the process of arranging a helicopter license so that she can be flown around the country. Cars are just so 2011.
The 23-year-old South-Londoner, who scooped an unprecedented 6 Grammy's earlier this month has recently moved into a Sussex mansion with new boyfriend Simon Konecki. The ten-bedroom property costs her £15,000 a month and is Grade II listed. Some of the abode's most notable features include it's two swimming pools, tennis court, games room and helicopter pad.
Adele, being the resourceful lass that she is, has decided to make use of the helicopter pad. A source close to the singer explained her reasons.
"It will cut down her journey time by some distance and it also means she won't have to rely so heavily on cars. She's a busy woman and needs to get to places with minimal disruption."
It is believed that Adele would use a chopper to ferry her to-and-from shows enabling her to spend as much time as possible at her new Sussex digs with her new beau.
Adele will attempt to add to her trophy haul this evening at the Brit Awards, she is nominated for Best British Female Solo Artist prize and for Best British Single for Someone Like You.
We wouldn't bet against her.
