About I am Harlequin

I am Harlequin has been founded by German-born musician/singer/songwriter and producer Anne Freier. Her music blends elements of pop, indie and electro pop. She plays the piano, harp and recorder. Anne was born in Dresden, Germany, daughter to a teacher (mother) and landscape architect (father) and the family moved to Erfurt when she was two years old. After the wall came down the whole family traveled a lot within Europe and later internationally. Early on, she was exposed to classical music and her father regularly took her to see the opera and ballet.
